Hey guys, salut mes amis och hallå gubbar, Maxim here. My old aim map is more than 2 years old. Back then I was mostly experimenting with maps in CS:GO and I wasn’t focused so much on making it balanced or optimized… and the theme is from the old Dust2. I felt like it needed an update. So here’s aim_bananagaming_v2. On this map you play on a rooftop and battle each-other with a fine view of the city. I obviously took lots of inspiration from New Donk City in Super Mario Odyssey. Seriously tho, I wanted to make an outside map in a city environment where it’s bright and easy to spot other players. You can obviously fall down to your death causing 1337 damage and I’ve also made a middle section where you can stand on top of a bridge. The map is already pre-configured for aim duels, meaning, there’s no freezetime, the round ending delay is shorter and other settings have been applied so you can just start immediately against your friends or other people. Even though there’s a huge city in the background I’ve optimized the map so you should get some pretty good FPS.
Let’s face it, bots are stupid. I’ve tried my best to make them as “smart” as possible? I mean there’s still stupid and they make stupid plays but I did put some extra time into them so you can at least have a bit of fun. Oh f***. I decided in the end to just remove weapons on the map and have people spawn with them instead. It’s just so much easier to focus when you don’t need to look for weapons and all your skins will be applied to your guns. Unless you sold your skins already because of the trading cooldown. Each round you’ll spawn with either an ak, m4 or m4 silencer. There’s also a small chance that you will recieve an awp or just a knife. I mean, who doesn’t like knife rounds? The design of the map is not just random, I’ve put a lot of thought into it, and I wanted a fair, fun and balanced map. Both sides are the same and there’s also a small ramp for both teams if you want to spice things up a bit. Speaking of ramps, another problem I have with aim maps are displacements.
I don’t like them, so most of the battle takes place on a flat surface. Me and my friends had lots of fun playing the map, and I think the “end” results are pretty awesome. Anyway, you can find a link to it in the video description. That was the video. I’ll see you guys in the next one, and go bananas!.
