Modifications are items that grant additional abilities when they are applied to weapons or armor. Each item can hold one mod. Mods cannot be removed from items, and replacing a mod on an item will destroy the original mod.  In addition to their effects, legendary mods also add five power levels to the item’s displayed power level. This section lists each of the legendary mods available for each slot, as well as what they do. Note that applying multiple mods of the same type cause their effects to stack multiplicatively.


Helmet Mods

Impact Absorption: Increases Resilience by 1.

Self-Repairing: Increases Recovery by 1.

Energy Bracket: Improves Handling for energy weapons by 15%.

Arc Impact: Reduces the cooldown for Melee skills by 9% when playing an Arc subclass.

Solar Ordnance: Reduces the cooldown for Grenades by 9% when playing a Solar subclass.

Solar Paragon: Reduces the cooldown for Dodge/Barricade/Rift by 9% when playing a Solar subclass.

Void Ordnance: Reduces the cooldown for Grenades by 9% when playing a Void subclass.

Void Paragon: Reduces the cooldown for Dodge/Barricade/Rift by 9% when playing a Void subclass.


Arms Mods

Acceleration: Increases Mobility by 1.

Kinetic Munition Loader: Improves Reload Speed for kinetic weapons by 12%.

Energy Counterbalance: Reduces Recoil for energy weapons.

Arc Impact: Reduces the cooldown for Melee skills by 9% when playing an Arc subclass.

Arc Paragon: Reduces the cooldown for Dodge/Barricade/Rift by 9% when playing an Arc subclass.

Void Impact: Reduces the cooldown for Melee skills by 9% when playing a Void subclass.

Void Ordnance: Reduces the cooldown for Grenades by 9% when playing a Void subclass.


Chest Mods

Kinetic Counterbalance: Reduces Recoil for kinetic weapons.

Power Bracket: Improves Handling for power weapons by 15%.

Power Munition Loader: Improves Reload Speed for power weapons by 9%.

Arc Ordnance: Reduces the cooldown for Grenades by 9% when playing an Arc subclass.

Arc Paragon: Reduces the cooldown for Dodge/Barricade/Rift by 9% when playing an Arc subclass.

Weapon Mods

Weapon Attack: Adds 5 power levels to a kinetic weapon.

Arc Damage: Adds 5 power levels to an energy or power weapon and changes its damage type to Arc.

Solar Damage: Adds 5 power levels to an energy or power weapon and changes its damage type to Solar.

Void Damage: Adds 5 power levels to an energy or power weapon and changes its damage type to Void.
