Hello my nickname is Littlelove i play on Moonsea server for about a year, i always been support/cc bot Occultist in PVP so im going to share with you guys all what i learn.

  • 1-Daos.
  • 2-Armor.
  • 3-Cultivations.
  • 4-Attributes.
  • 5-Soul Grid.
  • 6-Venerations.

1-DAOS:

DARK

-Demon Touch: One of the best CC skills we have, 5 Blue and 5 Green.

-Dance of Death: This skill is not really good in PVP(is good in PVE tho) 5 Orange and 5 Green.

-Siphoning Spirits: Not my favorite but much better than Dance of Death, 5 Red and 5 Green

-Archon of Darkness: Useless in PVP don’t invest daos on this.

-Dour Wyrm: Best burst skill we have, 5 Red and 5 Orange(could also change Orange for Blue)

LIGHT

-Bonds of Light: Very spammable skill with good healing, you get damage reduction while casting, i recommend casting after you go through your light wall, 5 Red and 5 Green.

-Arcane Collusion: Boost your and teammates damage, use when your team engage, 5 Red and 5 Green.

-Cunning Transference: You make one teammate immune to damage, one of your best specials 5 Orange and 5 Green (Also known as Nirvana).

-Archon of Light: 5 Green, 3 Orange and 2 Blue for me is the best setup. This special is the one you can pull the most healing but is not that good because you can’t control who to heal and only heal 5 people.


2-ARMOR: 

What stats do you want to aim in your BP gear?

DEFENSIVE
-Crit Reduction: Best defensive stat for PVP, counter of Crit Increment
-Special Skill Power Reduction: At end game you mostly die by Special Skills, really good stat against Assassins, Vanguards and Blademasters.
-Defense Essence: Not bad of a stat but i rather get the ones above.
-Dodge/Parry: They save me a couple of times but i’m not a fan of them.

OFFENSIVE
-Crit and Crit Increment: You want to balance this two, You want to aim for 60% Crit and 175% Crit Increment but the more the better so go for it.
-Special Skill Power: Good stat if you like to be top healing in battlefields, scale really well with your angel(Archon of Light) and Bonds of Light.

SET BONUS

Militant(PVP Set)

You want to get the Militant set bonus ASAP (only 2 pieces), Im using Helm and Chest and allow me to get better offensive stats in my Boots and Gloves or you can go Helm and Gloves this allow you to craft a good Chest piece with for example Crit Reduction or Special Skill Power Reduction (Demonslayer Pants are really good so go for those).

Battle Spirit
You get this Set Bonus with your BP or Demonslayer Gear and you activate it with Astral Feruvites (One for piece), it gives good amount of Defenses.

-How to activate your set bonus: You gotta buy the pearls for the respective bonus you want, for the Militant you need two of each PVP marks and for the Battle Spirit you need one Astral Feruvite (Vendor NPC is in 5483, -1506, 15).

EXALTS


What are the Exalts? The Exalts are the Green stats in your gear.

and it can be change with few materials depending which piece you trying to reroll.

Which Exalts are the best? The ones with 3 Options like “Vigilance, Gravita, Punishment, etc” or the ones with % “Shattering, Killing Blow, Divinity, etc”. Exalts can get the Prefix “Heavens” meaning the rolls are going to be higher than the normal version.

Here are mine Exalts(not perfect but good enough for me).

As you can see my gear is not perfect but i’m quite happy with this setup.

3-CULTIVATIONS:

This are the cultivations im using ATM and the level of the skills(98 Points)

-Lv.7 Hellfire Claw: No points.

-Lv.15 Creeping Pain: No points.

-Lv.20 Demon’s Rancor:
Basic Scroll I – Light: 10% more healing. 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: 3% more healing for every stack, 3 points.
Basic Scroll I – Dark: Increase damage by 10%, 2 Points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Dark: 3% more magic damage for every stack, 3 points.
Intermediate Scroll II – Dark: Allow you to move while casting, 3 Points.

-Lv.20 Grasping Spirits:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase healing of this skill by 10%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Increase received healing by 10%, 3 points.
Basic Scroll I – Aptitude: Increase SSPs obtain by 30%, 3 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Aptitude: Reduced skill cooldown by 14%, 2 points.

-Lv.20 Occultist’s Will:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase healing of this skill by 20%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Reduce the speed of the skill by 50% but last 2 second more, 2 points.
Advanced Scroll I – Light: 60% more healing in the second cast if the target is below 20% HP, 3 points.
Advanced Scroll II – Light: 50% more healing in the second cast, 3 points.
Basic Scroll I – Aptitude: Increase SSPs obtain by 20%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Aptitude: Reduced skill cooldown by 20%, 3 points.

-Lv.15 Occultist’s Gift:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase defense from the totem buff by 15%, 2 points.
Elementary Scroll I – Light: To reveal Assassins, 1 point.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Increase received healing by 20%, 3 points.

-Lv.20 Adapt:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase your total healing by 20%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Increase your Crit Increment by 15% in light, 3 points.

-Lv.15 Shattered Abyss:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase healing of this skill by 15%, 2 points.

-Lv.10 Gate of Atrophy:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase healing of this skill by 15%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Increase the duration of the wall 3 seconds, 3 points.
Basic Scroll I – Aptitude: Increase SSP obtain by 20%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Aptitude: Reduced skill cooldown by 20%, 3 points.

-Lv.20 Spirit’s Return:
Basic Scroll I – Light: Increase damage absorbed by 30%, 3 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Increase Crit and Crit Increment by 15%, 2 points.Advanced Scroll I – Light: Reduce cast time by 80%, 3 points.
Advanced Scroll II – Light: Increase your control resistance by 50, 2 points.
Basic Scroll I – Aptitude: Increase SSP obtain by 30%, 3 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Aptitude: Reduced skill cooldown by 20%, 3 points.

-Lv.20 Demon Shackle:
Basic Scroll I – Light: This skill will absorb 30% more damage, 3 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Light: Increase healing of this skill by 20%, 2 points.
Advanced Scroll II – Light: Stun enemies around for 5 seconds, 2 points.

-Lv.20 Void Cycle:
Basic Scroll I – Aptitude: Increase SSP obtain by 20%, 2 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Aptitude: Reduced skill cooldown by 20%, 3 points.
Basic Scroll I – Dark: After using this skill the enemy is stun for 3 seconds, 3 points.
Intermediate Scroll I – Dark: After using this skill the enemy take 30% more magic damage for 3 seconds, 3 points.
Advanced Scroll I – Dark: After using this skill you become Mercurial for 3 seconds, 3 points.

I highly recommend to try different builds, that’s the magic of been a Occultist you can do so much that you would never have enough cultivation points

4-ATTRIBUTES:

For Attributes i run a very tank page:

Vigor: 200~
Spirit: 200~
Dex: 100~

I also got another page if i want to go more hybric:

Vigor: 170~
Spirit: 170~
Dex: 170~

Always try to complete your Zeal, Brawn and Arcana.

5-SOUL GRID:


This is my Soul Grid, im actually working on it now. Upgrading my Spectre Crystal to Lv 8 will allow me the “Lifegiver II”(Healing Lv 2) after that i’m going for the Moon Crystals Lv 8 for “Perseverence Lv 2”(Physical Defense Lv 2). My Chaos Crystal is Gleaming.

I made a “cheaper” version if you just started to play the game.

Chaos Crystal(middle): Gleaming Chaos Lv 3

“Circle of Sky”(Outer circle):
2x Sun Crystal Lv 4
2x Moon Crystal Lv 4
2x Time Crystal Lv 4
2x Sky Crystal Lv 4

“Circle of Earth”(Inner Circle):
1x Death Crystal Lv 4
1x Birth Crystal Lv 4
1x Spectre Crystal Lv 4
1x Animus Crystal Lv 4

After getting this you probably would know more than the basics of the game so you can choose which path take. Personally i would go for “Berserker Lv 2”(Crit Lv2) swapping/upgrading crystals.

Soul Grid Panel: I’m using the “Darkness” panel but i use the “Impenetrable” panel in situations(You can buy this panels with your class reputation in the Occultist zone).

6-VENERATIONS: 

What / Where are Venerations ? : Venerations are “Extra” stats that u get by upgrading your gears to +5 / +9 / +13 (By gears i mean every pieces of it , Gloves , Earrings etc).

How to see/Check them ? : You can see them after clicking or pointing your piece of gear with your mouse while pressing “Shift”.

How to upgrade your Venerations: Yes it can be upgrade and they are RNG , how many lines of venerations you get depends on how much you gear is upgrade to +5 / +9 or +13 (1 / 2 or 3 lines Max) also there are 4 type of Venerations, Starting from the lowest: Green , Blue , Purple and Gold.

Venerations that you should aim for per piece:

Armors: 
Helm: 1st and 2nd Line: Defensive Stats, 3rd Line: Physical Dmg Reduction rate (%).
Chest: 1st and 2nd Line: Defensive Stats, 3rd Line: Magic Dmg Reduction rate (%).
Pants: 1st and 2nd Line: Defensive Stats, 3rd Line: Magic Dmg Reduction rate (%).
Gloves: 1st and 2nd Line: Defensive Stats, 3rd Line: Physical Dmg Reduction rate (%).
Boots: 1st and 2nd Line: Defensive Stats, 3rd Line: Movement Speed/Defence Essence or Dex.

Weapons: 
Mainhand Crit as much as you can (Heaven’s % if u’re lucky).
Offhand Crit Increment as much as you can (Same as Mainhand Heaven’s %).

Accessories: 
Earrings: Special Skill Dmg Reduction, Crit Defense , Defensive Stats.
Rings: 1st & 2nd: Crit / Special Skill Power 3rd: Crit Rate (%).

(As Defensive Stats: Vigor, Spirit, HP and Magic/Physical Armor).
