Hi! I’m Hazel, and this is a quick overview of what’s new with Brewfest in 2016. This year, Brewfest runs from September 20th until October 6th. Head to the festival grounds outside of Ironforge or Orgrimmar to get started. There is one new collectible that’s been added to Brewfest this year, and it’s available off the sausage vendor for 100 tokens. Gravil Goldbraid’s Famous Sausage Hat will give you a 10 minute cosmetic hat buff on a ten minute cooldown. You can have permanent sausages on your head, if you’re, uh, into that kind of thing. Earning Brew Tokens for the new toy is easy enough. Complete the event quests, queue up for Coren Direbrew and don’t forget your daily Ram Racing. Your first day will get you at least 100 tokens due to the one-time Pink Elekk quest and first time Coren Direbrew turn-in. If you only need the new hat, you only need to do one day. If this is your first year at Brewfest, then there’s all sorts of stuff for you to collect. Most of this is from tokens, so if you need more than one thing, doing the event on your alts is the fastest way to get it all in less calendar time.

Mounts! The Swift Brewfest Ram and Great Brewfest Kodo have a chance to drop from Coren Direbrew’s daily chest. Your best bet is queuing up for it every day on as many alts as you have leveled up to 109. I know, it’s probably not many. On top of the new sausage hat, there’s five brewfest toys available on a vendor for tokens. The Brewfest Pony Keg, Pandaren Brewpack and Brewfest Banner will set you back 100 tokens each. The Brewfest Keg Pony and Steamworks Sausage Grill will cost you 200 tokens. There’s three pets to pick up too- The Pint-Sized Pink Pachyderm and Stout Alemental are available for tokens off the vendor. Wolpertinger’s Tankard is from the once-per-event quest or you can buy more Wolpertingers with tokens.

This is kind of a neat pet in that you can see your own all the time, but you can only see another player’s Wolpertinger if you’re in-game drunk. If you’re new to Brewfest, make sure to knock out the six event specific achievements for the BrewMaster title. It looks especially good on monks. These are easy achievements, and you’ll get a lot of them just while farming tokens for other rewards. Do the Elekk and Wolpertinger quests, queue for and beat Coren Direbrew, defend a Direbrew invasion, eat 8 brewfest foods off the vendors, join the Brew of the Month club using prize tokens and either obtain a Brewfest mount or use Brew Hops to temporarily transform your own mount. Bam, Brewmaster! This is all easy to wrap up in one event and shouldn’t take you too long. So, that’s Brewfest this year! Don’t forget to stop by and scrape some tokens together for your Sausage Hat toy sometime in the next two weeks. It’s definitely, uh, unique. Thanks for watching! Let me know what you think, and have a wonderful, wonderful day. Bye!.
