Hello everyone! My name is Gandalin and welcome to another World of Warcraft guide. Today, we have another video in my series on hidden artifact appearances. Obtaining any of these appearances will award you with the Feat of Strength called Hidden Potential. In this video, we’ll be looking at the hidden appearances for shamans. Note that you can obtain any of these appearances regardless of your current spec. First up is Elemental. This appearance is called Prestige of the Amani and is unlocked via the Lost Codex of the Amani. This makes the Fist of Ra-den look like a weapon you would see used by the trolls in Zul’Aman. To obtain this appearance, you first need to reach Artifact Knowledge level 4. After that, the Lost Codex can be looted from rare mobs in Legion Dalaran’s Underbelly. When the sewer guards are on duty, rare mobs will spawn randomly throughout the area every few minutes. You can see where they are by looking for the stars on your minimap. Keep killing them, and you’ll eventually see the item drop. Be careful when you see the message that the sewer guards are taking a break.
Rares will stop spawning, and the Underbelly turns into a free-for-all PvP area. You can get the guards to return to their posts by giving Raethan, the Underbelly Guard Captain, 50 Sightless Eyes, which are looted from mobs and players in the sewers. The option to bring the guards back is available 5 minutes after they are sent away. Now let’s look at Enhancement. This appearance is called Zandalar Champion and is unlocked via The Warmace of Shirvallah. It gives the Doomhammer the appearance of a Zandalari troll weapon. To obtain this appearance, you first need to reach Artifact Knowledge level 4. After that, the Warmace will drop from two of the Broken Isles world bosses. The first is Levantus, which is located in the water between mainland Azsuna and the Isle of the Watchers. The second is Flotsam, who is located in the northernmost part of Highmountain, near Shipwreck Cove. The item IS guaranteed to drop, so you’ll only have to kill one of those bosses once. The trick with getting this appearance is that the Broken Isles world bosses are part of a rotation.
A random one will spawn each week out of 9 possible bosses. You can see which one is up for the week by looking for the epic world quest on your map. Unfortunately, this means that you will simply have to wait for the Levantus or Flotsam to be up in order to get this hidden appearance. Finally, we have the Restoration appearance, which is called Serpent’s Coil. It is unlocked via the Coil of the Drowned Queen and adorns Sharas’dal with some snakes and eyes reminiscent of the Naga. The item for this appearance drops from the Naga bosses, Warlord Parjesh and Lady Hatecoil, in the Eye of Azshara dungeon. The item can drop on any difficulty, including Mythic+, but is not guaranteed, so you may have to run the dungeon many times to get it. And those are the hidden appearances for the shaman artifacts. Remember that you can get any of the hidden appearances regardless of your current spec. And that’s it for this video!
