hey guys, patrice here once again, this time im going to do a video about aiming since im done with legends, so you probably seen a lot of videos on this already and most of them would be talking about the training area worm up and maybe something to do with your sensetivity plus the all known mention of landing in to hot zone to practice, well as much as all of that is great i think its not good enough, theres few problems, first training area is very limited, you cant try out attachments and te hit boxes in the training area arent real, its like you going to be shooting at gibraltar all the time, theres no real enemys and the best you going to get is a slowly moving target, as much as you can try and to some flicking in the training it wont be that profitible.
Second, droping in to hot zones, yea thats a good idea and i used to do this all the time, but theres a lot of downsides with this, its rng based and you will often die withoute even finding a weapon or end up having a mozabique and the loading is super long, if you drop down and die imediately then you have to quit or wait till someoen respawns you and that will never usually happen, and if you do quit then you will have to search for a game again and then wait for character select back to the drop, all of this ends up to a lot of time when you actually dont even get to fight for that much most of the time, so its very time consuming and theres hardly any profit from this, but i get it itsa battle royal game. third the sensetivity, yes the weaker your sensetivity is the easier it is to be percise but in reallity most of this is personal preference and you should pick what you are comfertible with, althrogh i do recomend to have it as low as possible while still being comfertible, since if you have a large mouse pad its much easier to aim with lower sensetivity but thats only mey personal opinion so it dont actually matter, the only way to know is to just try everything out.
And now moving on to the point of this video, what if i told you theres way better ways of practising and training your aim, i found out two ways that helped me a lot with my aim, since my aim is terible, lets get to my personally favorite its Titanfall 2, waiiiit before you start judging just hear me out first, it costs 6? which is nothing to be honest, compared to apex you can only get 1000 coins for 7.99, here you can get the enitre game ultimate edition for 6? soemthing, so heres my reasons why tf2 is amazing to practice your aim. they are both made on the same engine, and you can customise everything in titanfall 2 the way you have it in apex, make sure to adjust your sensetivity and your keybinds to fit you in apex too.
Tf2 is way more fast pace and its a lot harder to hit the targets since peole can double jump and wall runs and all of that fun stuff, so if you get good in tf2 when you go on apex, everything feals a lot slower like its in a slow motion and hiting enemys in apex gets soo easy since they have no where near same movement as in tf2 it has simillar weapons and skills, since the game is made by respawn and is based on titanfall universe, they have a lot of same weapons, wingamn, r99, r301, flatline, r45, kraver, mastiff, eva 8, triple take, longbow and so on, all of those weapons are very simillar, they do have a bit of a different aim and different hipfire, but in general they are really simillar and you will get used to them really fast, you can practise with wingman, it actually feels a lot weaker in tf2 then in apex so technically if you get good with it you will be even better in apex, from my experience i was really bad with r99, since of the recoil but after spamming it in tf2 i became way better, then when i came back and playe apex, r99 was so much easier to play with and land shots with, in general i would say that if you want to practise your shotgun then play shotgun in titanfall 2 and same goes for any other weapons, another thing is abilities, titanfall 2 has same abilities as apex legends, they are different but you will feel the similarities, you can even practice the grapple way more efficiant then in apex, since you have 2 hooks and they recharge way faster, i would say they have pretty much the same mechanics as in apex.
Another very important aspect is that it is fun! instead of playing in a training program which i will move on to later, titanfall is actually just a normall game, and is way more fun to actually play compared to just droping in to a hot zone in apex, in titanfall if you play casuall death mach which you most likely will since thats the only mod played right now and the player base is tiny, after death you will spawn back up imeddiatelly and can straigh get in to fight again, so no need to wait 5 minutes till you drop again, you get in to the fight imediatelly against real players and not just dummy targets. anotehr good point is that you dont get as burned out, instead of just playing apex all day long and getting bored more and more with every day, you can actually mess it around a little bit, have some fun in tf2 or even play campaign, since its actually very fun, and it it will make you a better player, compared to if you play like minecraft and slowly lose your fps game grip.
Theres also the ability for stim pilot, which was the leak for the new octane legend that might come out, it quickly boosts your speed for short time and gives u a little heal, but this is probably fake news and i doubt it will be like thism but if it does, then you will be a bit ahead since you already practised it in the tf2 game. another good point is that its very good warmup, instead of just going to training grounds and warming up on massively hitboxing targets, you actuall warm up on real players that are way faster then in apex, so apex actually feels like a break, you get way moer breathing time and you can cinda chill and relax lol. personally i played tf2 for 3 days now, around 5h a day, and every time i go back on apex it feels a lot slower and its so much easier to hit the targets, i actually ended up getting more kills and more fun games compared to my usual, my aim is way better and i feel way more confident in my self, before this i would always spam and play apex, yes it did make me a better player since i put so much time in to it, but my aim was always of, i could position my self correctly or make a perfect flank but due to my aim mess it all up, which eventually led me to play way more defencively and be less confident so i stoped pushing when i had to or played defencive when i had to play aggresive and etc.
But after playing tf2 aiming became so much easier that im back to how i started, playng wraith (since her hot box is tiny) and rushing every single fight i hear, which led me to way more fun games and way more kills in totall. so personally i recomend investing 6? to actually become a way better player in apex, but there is two downbsides, first is that tehres titans, and usually what i do is just drop my one and let him play on his own, and carry on running around and practising my aim, well unless i just actually want to have fun in game so i play titans too, you can only pick a mode that is withoute the titans, but thers not a lot of people playing so it will take you around 5 minutes to find a match, so i woldnt really remond this since its a bit too long.
And another one is that it costs 6? and some poeple might not afford it specially the younger audience, well im sorry guys but this is the best way to practice imo, tehre is free aim practice programs but they arent good enough. and now moving on to the second way, which in my opinione is a bit worse and not fun to play, its called kovaaks fps aim trainer, im sure a lot of people heard about it, it costs around 8? and its a very good aim training program, i got a mate who was playing team fortress competetive and in generall is a god at fps games, he recmoneded me this and thats the program he uses, as soon as he searches for a match in apex, in between he turns it on and practises his aim, and he does that all the time in between of games. it is a n amainzg program/ game i guess, people can also make they own servers and adjust their aim and sensetivity exactly like in game, you can even tranfer the stuff to it copys the exact in game specs for you.
The community build levels and practice targets all hte time, so theres already a lot of apex practising servers made that you an use, this is definettelly very efficiant game, and i used the demo version to practise my tracking here, you can pretty much practise anyting, flickin, tracking, straifing, mid air shooting, shooting targets taht jump on you or that are below you, pretty much everything is covered her, its an amazing way to train aim but it costs around 7? so its also not free, and the biggest one for me is that its boring, and it really get annoiyng afre spamming it every day for an hour or something, so i personally prefer titanfall 2 to get better in apex, while kovaaks works great for any game, titanfall 2 is more like just for apex since its made by the same company.
Anwyay, lets finish this episde up, i hope this episode was usefull and provided way more information then just training in a training grounds or sensetivity coverage. if you have any better tips then make sure to comment them down below, of if you know any payed or free porgrams that helped you also comment them down, i will personally try them out since im keen on imporving, im trying to get a camera now, so i would be able to live stream maybe do a QandA, or in general just interact with my viewrs, let me know if thats something you would liek to see, also dont forget to follow my social medias and my discord channel, all the links will be down in the descriptions, if you liked this video please give it a like and dont forget to subscribe!!!
