What is up guys, Rick Kackis here and in this video we’re going to be doing a little bit of housekeeping showcasing how to get some very valuable items within the new curse of Osiris expansion in Destiny? 2. That aren’t inherently obvious a new exotic for one and also how to unlock the new vexified forge weapons within this DLC, And so, let’s get started. The first thing we’re going to talk about how to get is the new “ Aeon safe” gauntlets for the Titan Hunter and Warlock. That’S right. All three classes can actually gain access to this one exotic and it has a pretty darn interesting ability. It’S called Aeon energy summoning a barricade. This is for the Titan summoning a barricade grant the following to nearby Aeon Cult allies, grenade energy to Warlocks, barricade energy to Titans and dodge energy to Hunters. Other allies receive a fraction of the shared energy, So no matter which class you are by the way for the Hunter. It’S when you do a dodge when you activate your dodge, that same ability will activate giving grenade energy to Warlocks, barricade energy to Titans and dodge energy to Hunters, but again, at a lesser degree, to people not wearing this gauntlet.

So it kind of seems like Warlocks get the best piece of the pie there. More grenade energy sign me up. Barricade energy is also quite useful. This exotic is dropping at 315 ( Power Level ) and it is awarded for simply beating the campaign of Curse of Osiris. However, you’re not going to end with a screen giving you these exotics in fact, you’re going to end on Mercury, you have to go back once you beat the campaign, you have to go back to the tower talk to Ikora, and then she will award you with These gauntlets Again, it’s not inherently obvious, there’s no glowing campaign symbol on Ikora whatsoever, she’s just like blinking green, and it’s something that a lot of people I think, may have passed over or have forgotten to notice.

So definitely go check out Ikora after you do that “ Osiris campaign” and get these exotics Free exotic. Why not Now next we’re going to talk about how to unlock the Forge weapons, so what you need to do is again beat the main DLC campaign. From this point forward, it’s going to give you a certain milestone. It’S going to immediately update your milestone and tell you to start doing adventures.

You’Re going to have to do around four different adventures, one after another, on Mercury. Once you are done all of these different adventures and doing all four of them may take a while, especially if you’re solo, but once you’ve done all of them. You’Re then, going to have the option to go back to Brother Vance and he’s going to offer you a heroic adventure. You can pick one out of any four of the adventures you just did, so it really doesn’t matter whatever one you like the most or you thought was the easiest pick that one up The heroic adventures are actually no joke. You may want to get a teammate for doing this because they’re 300 light they give you a guaranteed legendary engram upon beating it, which is all sweet but again they’re 300 light. They have a random modifier and the enemies hit pretty hard, so again grab an ally. If you’re, having trouble doing this solo,

Now, once you do complete this heroic adventure, you’re going to go back and talk to Brother Vance, he is going to then award you with a prophecy. It seems to be always the same prophecy prophecy number one which will in the end award a scout rifle Now. This first one “ The Lost Prophecy, Verse 1”. If you go and inspect it within your inventory, you can see it requires one concentrated, Radiolarian culture. You are awarded a concentrated Radiolarian culture upon completing public events, so you can go anywhere, do public events and as soon as you complete them, you can be awarded with this blue rare concentrated, I should say, Radiolarian culture. Now I say that because you could also get the green, I guess non concentrated version of this item. Now you can take ten of The green Radiolarian cultures that you get from public events go to Brother Vance and he will convert them to a blue which you do need for this lost prophecy. It awards the green ones pretty regularly and it randomly awards the blue one, definitely less regularly. You might get lucky and get it on your first public event or it may take you several potentially hours of grinding. It is subject to RNG, but at least you do have a back-up plan with the green ones, eventually converting into the rare one.

Once you do finally get this item, go back into your inventory, you have to hover over it and use it once you use this item, it’s going to apply to the prophecy, and then you have a completed prophecy. Go back to Brother Vance accept something from him. Go to the actual Forge within the lighthouse and forge your weapon. It will then give you outright the scout rifle At this point forward. You can go back to Brother Vance and accept any one of three different prophecies. So now the prophecy train is turning and you can accept and do several different prophecies and assumedly they’ll have some sort of rotation factor on them as well. So that is how you get firstly, kind of a free exotic and how you activate The Forge and start getting those vexified weapons Guys.
