Waddup, humans? Kurumi here! And welcome to the Mobile Legends Boot Camp! In this video, we are going to talk about the Mage-Marksman, Natan. Natan is a marksman hero with burst Magic damage.

We consider Natan as a Marksman with good  area-of-effect burst damage because of his area-of-effect skills specially his passive skill. Now, let me share some tips and tricks on how to use Natan based on our experience. We will also teach you some combos and techniques on the latter part of this boot camp. But before that, let me explain his skills one by one for further understanding. Natan’s passive, “Theory of Everything”, lets him do stats conversion to be a stronger Magic Damage dealer.

Each time he or his reverse clone from his ultimate skill hits an enemy with a skill, he gains a stack of Entanglement. Each stack increases his Attack  and Movement Speed by a certain amount which stacks up to 6 times. The number of stacks can be determined from either his status or under his health bar. Also, his projectiles from Basic Attacks return to him like a boomerang. Enemies hit along its path will receive another damage upon being shot by Natan.

With this, he could easily clear minion waves while harassing enemy heroes. Also, did you know that the hit from the initial hit of the projectile and the returning projectile  triggers basic attack effects? Here, we have Demon Hunter Sword. Take a look that the Demon Hunter Sword effect are triggered twice with just 1 basic attack release. His Basic attack damage is calculated based on his Physical Attack and Magic Power.

But wait, there is more! He also converts his Physical Lifesteal and  Penetration into Magic Lifesteal and Penetration. These conversions are really good since you  can just either go full Physical items, Magic items, or even a mix of both worlds. You can adjust his item builds according to your needs and your own gameplay.

Natan’s first skill, Superposition, lets Natan shoot a Magic Damage  projectile that deals burst Magic Damage to enemies hit along its path.

With its burst damage, it makes it easier to clear minion waves even in the early game. With its long range, you can also kill dying enemies trying to escape death. Natan’s second skill, Interference!, lets Natan push enemies away. He launches a gravitational projectile which carries enemies on contact toward its path, and deals Magic Damage.

The projectile explodes at the end of its path,  knocking back nearby enemies, and dealing Magic Damage to them. You can push enemies trying to go after you. You can also push enemies to push them further away from safety so you can kill them easily. Natan’s ultimate skill, Entropy?, lets Natan summons his Reverse-Clone.

Upon using, Natan summons his Reverse-Clone that lasts for a while within a pretty decent range. The clone inherits a percentage of Natan’s attack attributes and copies  all of Natan’s movements and attacks reversely. You can use the mirror image to easily push turrets. When you use this skill again, he dashes a short distance towards the Reverse-Clone. This can be used again after a short cool down.

You can use this to dodge enemy skills somehow.

There are so many items that you can buy for Natan. You can use the “Kurumi Way” build if you want to deal decent damage while being durable. Arcane Boots grants Magic Penetration to have your enemies receive more Magic Damage. Berserker’s Fury to increase your damage with Critical Hits.

Scarlet Phantom increases your Attack Speed when dealing Critical Hits. Depending on the enemy’s line-up, consider Wind of Nature when the  enemies have lots of Physical Damage dealers. Wind of Nature’s active skill will make you immune  from Physical Damage for a short while. Consider Haas’ Claws if there are less  Physical Damage dealers and you need to sustain in team fights. Hunter Strike to grant you additional movement speed upon triggering its effects.

Malefic Roar grants you a huge amount of Physical Penetration and makes you ignore  a percentage of a Turret’s defense. On the other hand, you can consider  the “Burst Mage” build if you want to deal extreme burst damage with your 1st skill. Genius Wand will reduce the target’s Magic Defense by a certain amount per damage dealt. War Axe to increase your Physical Penetration per damage dealt. Your movement speed will also increase upon reaching a certain amount of stacks.

Divine Glaive will grant you Magic Penetration which will  penetrate through the enemy’s Magic Defense. Lastly, you can use the “Jungle Daddy” build if you prefer to farm in the jungle peacefully. Demon Hunter Sword will deal extra damage based on target’s current HP on each basic attack. The item build for Natan really depends on the enemy’s line up. So make sure to read each item’s description so you can adapt in-game.

One of the best spells to be used on Natan is Flicker. You can use it to escape danger, even death. You might also want to consider Purify. This will help you to be immune to crowd-control skills for a short period. This will let you use your skills or basic attacks without the worry of being stunned.

If you are going for jungling, then consider Retribution. This will deal True Damage to the target minion or jungle monster. When you have a jungling item,  this spell will decrease the damage taken from jungle monsters permanently. This spell will help you kill monsters and farm faster in the jungle. In my opinion, the best emblem set to be used is the Custom Assassin Emblem set.

Custom Assassin Emblem could provide extra stats according to your needs as an burst marksman. Set Agility to its Max level because it can give you additional Movement Speed. Higher Movement Speed means higher chance to chase enemies or escape death. Setting Invasion to max level will provide you Physical Penetration. Higher Physical Penetration means higher damage on your basic attacks and skills.

Get Killing Spree to restore health points and gain movement speed upon killing an  enemy which lasts for 5 seconds. With your burst damage, you can  easily kill an enemy and restore health points during team fights.

Set First skill to max level first to have its damage higher and its cooldown lower. Prioritize Second skill less since your first skill is what you need for burst damage dealing. Always upgrade his ultimate skill when available for upgrading.

In terms of his combo, all we can say is there is no definite combo  since he is not much of a skill type hero. But since you are here to learn something,  then this is the combo we can recommend. First, we use his ultimate skill  to summon our mirror image. It’s best summoning it near the enemy. You can either use your 2nd skill to push enemies that are supposedly trying to charge after you, or use your 1st skill to deal burst damage with both yourself and your mirror image.

Then, deal basic attacks until the target is deleted. It’s best using this combo on team fights so that multiple enemies will be hit by your burst skills.

Additional Tip: Natan has no mobility skills. So it’s better to have Flicker or Sprint as your spell, and always stay alert when enemies try to blinking  towards you and push them away with your 2nd skill. The tips I mentioned are just some of the ways you can use Natan.

This video just guides you on how to use Natan, the Kurumi way. So, once again. This is Kurumi and that’s how you use Natan. Thanks for watching! Do not forget to like and share this video.
