It increases the damage caused by the skill when critically strikes. As its name. The debuff resistance and debuff accuracy are very special, we will shoot a video to explain them very soon?? But for now, all you need to know is that they allow your fighter to successfully add or resist debuffs. Some attributes also serve multiple functions-for example, defense and speed also affect the damage of some skills- Usually, this is the purpose of each attribute.
If you remove all the bonuses and equip to observe the fighter, you will see his basic attributes. The attributes that fighters have by default are the basic attributes. They increase with the level, star level and sublimation level- Therefore, fully upgrading your fighters is the key to helping them use their full potential. But the basic attribute is just the foundation. There are many ways to improve attributes above the baseline. At present, the main methods to improve the basic attributes of fighters are artifacts, halls, arena ranks, bonuses and talents. Artifacts and accessories will also have their own dedicated videos, but the summary is very simple.
Each artifact itself enhances different types of attributes, and equipment sets will bring special bonuses. In the main hall, you can consume arena medals to upgrade specific attributes for all fighters of the same attribute. Then there is the arena itself. Maintain your rank in the arena and bring a comprehensive increase in the health, attack and defense of all fighters. And, this applies to all modes of the game. As the rank increases, these bonuses will become huge.
Therefore, it is always worthwhile to invest in the arena. Finally, talents can also directly increase the attributes of fighters. There are many ways to improve the basic attributes of fighters. They overlap each other and have important effects. Maximize the use of these optimization methods as much as possible to grasp the best chance of success. In other words, how is attack related to skill damage, how defense affects damage, and your health is not actually your health.
Sounds exciting? Great-let’s get started. First of all, you need to know that each skill has its own multiplier, which determines the output of the skill. Usually, it determines the damage output, but other skills also have multiples. For example, the doubling of a healing skill determines the amount of healing of the skill. These multipliers are affected by different attributes, for example, your fighter’s maximum HP, their current HP, their defense value, etc.?? However, the damage value of most skills depends on the fighter’s attack attributes. For the more common doubling numbers, they are usually marked below the skill description. The general concept is: For example, your fighter has 1000 attacks, and the skill multiplier is 2. 2 times 1000 is 2000, then the output of this skill is 2000 “damage”. This is the original output, but there are other factors at play. This number does not consider the effects of weak, strong or critical attacks? In these cases, the total amount of damage may decrease or increase, depending on the outcome of the attack.
Of course, if you strike a critical strike, you will also benefit from the critical strike damage bonus superimposed on the fighter. But let’s set aside these first and discuss basic damage in a pure environment. Again-1000 points multiplied by 2 is 2000 points of damage. This is the basic damage output by the skill-but the actual damage the enemy receives will be different. At present, there are some gains that reduce the damage of fighters?and there are special skill mechanisms or special circumstances that may affect them? However, generally speaking, the damage a fighter receives depends on their defensive attributes. The defensive attribute of the fighter reduces the damage received, so the blood value lost by the fighter is usually not equal to the damage output of the skill. It is very important to distinguish this point, so let me say it again: damage output is not equal to blood loss. Let’s talk about how damage reduction works. Going back to our example at the beginning, the damage output of the fighter is 2000.
This is not a realistic scenario, but for the sake of example, we believe that the enemy fighter’s defense value is zero. In this case, there is no damage that can be reduced or reduced, so the enemy fighter will receive all 2000 damage from the skill. Well, it’s almost 2000. There is a random parameter used everywhere in the total damage formula- Therefore, in the same environment, the same attack on the same target will cause slightly different damage. This is normal. When the defense value is zero, a fighter with 1000 HP will be killed by 1000 damage. Therefore, every point of damage will be converted into a blood volume.
The fighter’s HP will drop to zero and will be knocked down in battle. But it is here that the enemy’s defensive attributes take effect. Defense reduces damage, This means that the damage the fighters receive will be reduced according to their defense value. In fact, the 1000 damage output by the skill does not mean that the target receives 1000 damage or loses 1000 HP. This is closely related to the fighter’s blood volume and defense. If a fighter has 10,000 HP, this does not mean that the enemy?s skills need to output 10,000 damage to defeat them?? In fact, they need to output more damage, which is related to the fighter’s effective HP value. The effective HP consists of the fighter’s original HP, such as 10000, and their defense value.
Their effective blood volume is equal to the damage taken by the total blood volume and the damage reduced by the defense value. And the total value when its blood volume drops to zero. The higher the two values, the higher the fighter’s effective HP. This is because the higher the fighter’s defensive attribute, the higher the damage required to reduce each point of the fighter’s HP. That?s why, if you compare two fighters with a huge difference in defense value and similar HP, One fighter is easier to knock down than the other fighter.
Here we use a high-defense fighter, such as the Templar Knight, and a fast, powerful attacker, such as a conqueror. The Templars have more defense values ??by default, even if we equip the artifacts to give the conqueror more HP?? Without touching the defense value-compared with the Templars, the conqueror still needs less damage to be knocked down. Why is this? Because higher defense brings higher damage reduction, This means that to reduce every point of the Templar’s HP, the attacking fighter needs to output more damage. Let me try to give a few examples to let you understand how it works. When we refer to injury reduction, we use percentages. So, let’s see how much defense is needed to reduce a certain amount of damage.
Need to reduce the damage by 15%, the fighter needs 290 defense value. This is very low and can be easily obtained without the artifact-but let’s increase the value. To reduce damage by 30%, fighters need 655 defense points. If you count well, you may find that the value is not directly doubled?yes. These values ??are just like that. This is because defensive damage reduction is not linear- This means that the first 15% damage reduction “expends” less defense than the second 15% damage reduction. The same applies to the next 15% damage reduction, and so on. Maybe you have heard the concept, “diminishing returns”.
If you convert these into a graph, the defense reduction will be a curve instead of a straight line. Yes, the chart is boring-what is its practical significance? In essence, after a certain node, there is no need to continue to invest in defense, because it can reduce the damage very little. It is best to start investing in other properties at that time. You will need to do some testing to find this node. These are all to find balance. In addition to these basic mechanisms, some skills also have attributes that are called “prevention” or ignore defense. As the name describes, it ignores part of the target’s defense and increases your damage. Its working principle is very simple, but it is a very powerful property. If your skill ignores 50% of the target’s defense, it can effectively reduce the target’s current defense value by 50% when attacking. Because damage reduction is non-linear, it will not increase damage by 50%, but the difference in damage value is still huge. It is the accuracy of the attacker and the resistance of the enemy together.
