Hello, this is Planet Roving, and this is how you can get powerful yoyos easily in Terraria 1.3! So, when you start off with a new character, the first thing you would want to get is the Amazon. It can be crafted from 8 Rich Mahogany, 2 Stingers, 1 Vine and 3 Jungle Spores, all of which can be obtained from the Jungle. The effort is worth it, as it is an overpowered weapon for the supplies it takes to craft it. It deals 20 damage. Your next stop is to get the Cascade, the most powerful yoyo available before Hardmode. It has a 1 in 400 chance of dropping by an enemy in the Underworld after Skeletron has been defeated. The minute chance may not be worth it for the 27 damage it does, but it inflicts the ?On Fire!? debuff whenever it hits an enemy, which causes them to lose 4 health a second. Once in hardmode, go straight to the Ice biome and farm enemies to acquire the Amarok, which has a 1 in 80 chance of dropping. It is the strongest yoyo available prior to defeating a Mechanical Boss. It deals 43 damage and inflicts the ?Frostburn? debuff whenever it hits an enemy, which causes them to lose 6 health a second. After defeating Plantera, grind the Solar Eclipse to get The Eye of Cthulhu.
This is a drop from the Mothron that has a 1 in 4 chance of dropping. It deals 115 damage and can stay in the air forever. You can acquire the Terrarian to show off. It is the most powerful yoyo in the game dealing 190 damage, and it has the second highest base damage of any melee weapon in the game, behind the Meowmere by 10 base damage. It fires projectiles rapidly that home in on nearby enemies. It has a 1 in 9 chance of dropping from the Moon Lord. As for accessories, craft a String out of 30 cobwebs at the loom, which will increase your yoyo?s range by 4 to 5 blocks.
Then, purchase any Counterweight for 5 gold from the Travelling Merchant or Skeleton Merchant. It fires a second yoyo-like projectile after hitting an enemy that arcs over the player back and forth. Keep 50 gold in your piggy bank in case you find the Skeleton Merchant to purchase the Yoyo Glove. It is an accessory that allows the player to use two yoyos at once. Combine the String, Counterweight and Yoyo Glove to craft the Yoyo Bag. With the Yoyo Bag, you can even triple your DPS, or Damage Per Second, against multi-segmented enemies such as the Destroyer. And that is how you can get powerful yoyos easily in Terraria 1.3! Leave a like if you liked the video, comment which is your favourite weapon and subscribe to receive all future videos!
