Battle for Azeroth Season 3 begins this week and brings new content for dungeons, PvP, and Warfronts, plus a new raid: Azshara’s Eternal Palace. First up, our new raid, Azshara’s Eternal Palace. Battle against Nazjatar’s worthiest champions, face down unfathomable monstrosities from the deep, and confront the legendary Queen Azshara herself in this massive 8-boss raid. Azshara’s Eternal Palace is available this week on Normal and Heroic difficulties, with Raid Finder Wing 1 and Mythic difficulties opening up next week.
Also with Season 3 comes Operation: Mechagon, a new 8-boss Mythic-only dungeon. It’s time to aid the Rustbolt Resistance in their fight against the oppressive King Mechagon and shut down his doomsday device. Great rewards await you, but bear in mind that gnome-crafted loot might have some surprising properties. Next, the new seasonal affix, Beguiling, which plants Queen Azshara’s agents into Mythic Keystone dungeons. Each group of enemies can have 1 of 3 different Emissaries who have unique abilities to force you to adapt your strategy. They can also cause nearby patrolling units to stop and praise them for a short time. You’ll find these Emissaries in different groups week to week, so stay on your toes. In Rise of Azshara, we’re introducing our first Heroic Warfront, the Battle for Stromgarde. To win, you’ll need to coordinate with your premade group of 10 to 20 players to outmaneuver the enemy.
Your foes will take on a more active role in Heroic Warfronts, with the enemy commander leading the assault on your bases and pushing back the front lines. Interact with the War Table in Boralus or in the Port of Zuldazar with your raid group to join the fight. In PvP you can look forward to a new Arena. Team up with 1 or 2 other players and step into the Robodrome. Battle among the whirring, clanking gizmos and gears of Mechagon, and test your skill against the gnomes’ truly inventive line-of-sight layout. Season 3 also brings new PvP mount rewards, including the Vicious Basilisk and the Notorious Gladiator mounts. All of this and more is available in the Season 3 update to Battle for Azeroth: Rise of Azshara. Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you on the front lines..
