Hello everyone! My name is Gandalin and welcome to another World of Warcraft guide! Today, we have another video in my series on the hidden artifact appearances. Obtaining any of these appearances will award you with the Feat of Strength called Hidden Potential. In this video, we’ll be looking at the hidden appearances for hunters. Note that you can obtain any of these appearances regardless of your current spec. First up is Beast Mastery. This appearance is called Titan’s Reach and is unlocked via the Designs of the Grand Architect.
This gives Titanstrike the appearance of a mechanical bow, which is nice if you prefer not to use guns, but still want to play Beast Mastery. This item is purchased from Hobart Grapplehammer, who is located in the engineering shop in Legion Dalaran. It is available for 8000 gold. However, this cost is affected by your reputation with the Kirin Tor. At Exalted, you only have to pay 6400 gold. If you’d like to gain rep with the Kirin Tor before you buy the appearance, I’ve got some tips for you. As far as Legion content goes, doing Kirin Tor World Quests is the only option, and they don’t award much.
You’re better off heading back to Northrend. Certain quests in Borean Tundra, especially those in Coldarra will give you Kirin Tor rep. Once you reach Friendly, head to Northrend Dalaran to buy the Tabard of the Kirin Tor from the quartermaster, Archmage Alvareaux, in the Violet Citadel. Wearing this lets you gain Kirin Tor rep when you run Wrath of the Lich King dungeons, which you can farm to your heart’s content. Now let’s look at Marksmanship. This appearance is called Ravenguard, and is unlocked via Syriel Cresentfall’s Notes: Ravenguard. It turns Thas’dorah into a crossbow. This item is purchased from Veridis Fallon, the Court of Farondis quartermaster. In order to buy, it you must reach Revered with the Court of Farondis reputation. It will then be available for 1700 gold.
The cost of this item is also affected by reputation, so you can save an extra 100 gold by waiting until you’re Exalted with the Court of Farondis. To gain rep with them, make sure you do all of the storylines in Azsuna. This will get you to Honored. From there, do as many World Quests in the zone as you can. Also make sure you do the Court of Farondis Emissary Quest when it pops up, as this awards 1500 reputation. You can also choose to receive Farondis rep when you complete the Kirin Tor Emissary. Finally, we have the Survival appearance, which is called Bear’s Fortitude.
It is unlocked via the Last Breath of the Forest and gives Talonclaw a new look that includes a bear’s paw print. The item for this appearance drops from Ursoc in the Emerald Nightmare raid. It drops on all difficulties, but is not guaranteed, so it may take several weeks of running the raid to obtain it. And those are the hidden appearances for the hunter artifacts. Remember that you can get any of the hidden appearances regardless of your current spec. And that’s it for this video!
