How to Unlock Vulpera | WoW Allied Race Guide

Hey everyone! My name is Gandalin and welcome to another World of Warcraft guide. I’m back after a long break and today I’m going to show you how to unlock the Vulpera as an Allied Race. Before we start I just want to mention that this video was made during Battle for Azeroth. It is currently unclear how Allied Races will change with the level squish coming in Shadowlands, so if you’re watching this after that expansion has launched, please check the video description for any updates or changes.

Alrighty, let’s start with some general info. The Vulpera are an Allied Race for the Horde. Available classes include hunter, mage, monk, priest, rogue, shaman, warlock, and warrior, as well as death knight with the purchase of the Shadowlands expansion. Vulpera hunters start with a cobra pet and shamans have unique totems. This race also has unique character customization options as well as jokes and flirts. And they have their own set of racial traits. Passively, they get eight extra slots in their backpack, take reduced fire damage, and take reduced damage from the first type of attack they’re hit with. They have two active racial abilities. With Make Camp you can set a second hearthstone location anywhere in the world, and Bag of Tricks is a spell you can customize to deal damage to enemies or heal allies. Now let’s talk about how you unlock this Allied Race.

There are two criteria you need to complete, and they must be done using a Horde character. The first is to complete Secrets in the Sands, which is the achievement awarded for completing all the storylines in Vol’dun. This will take several hours to do, and I recommend using the Azeroth Auto Pilot addon to help guide you quickly through the zone. The second criteria is to reach Exalted with the Voldunai, which could take several weeks. Completing all the storylines will get you to Friendly. After that, you’ll need to reach 120 and unlock world quest to make any more progress. Once you’ve done that, your next step should be to get a Voldunai Contract. They can be crafted with Inscription or purchased from the Auction House and give you bonus rep when completing any BfA world quests. From there you should do all of the world quests in Vol’dun every day.

You also should do the Voldunai emissary and Vol’dun faction assaults whenever they’re available. Those will be your major sources of rep but there are also a few other small ones. The mission table on your ship sometimes has missions that award Voldunai rep. There’s also the Shimmering Shell, which can drop from island expeditions or be purchased from the dubloons vendor. Bring it to Hoarder Jena at the Vulpera Hideaway in Vol’dun to get some rep. And lastly, make sure you also keep an eye out for the Darkmoon Faire and World Quest Bonus Event as both can boost your rep gains. And from April 20th to May 18th, 2020, the Impressive Influence buff doubles the amount of rep you can earn for this faction from all sources. Once you complete those two criteria go to the Orgrimmar Embassy to pick up the quest “Guests at Grommash Hold.” This starts the recruitment questline.

Once you finish that, you’ll be able to create a Vulpera on your account. You’ll also be awarded with the Caravan Hyena mount, which can be used by any Horde character. The last thing I want to mention is the Heritage Armor for this Allied Race. You can unlock it by leveling a Vulpera up to 110 without using any kind of level boosts. And once you earn it any Vulpera character on your account can use it. And that’s how you unlock the Vulpera! As always, if you enjoyed this video, make sure you give it a thumbs up!
