Hello everyone! My name is Gandalin and welcome to another World of Warcraft guide! Today I wanted to let you know about changes to some of the quests associated with the Good Suramaritan and Breaching the Tomb achievements. These changes went live with Patch and have made it much easier to unlock Legion flying as well as your class mount. For this video, I’m only going to cover the changes that Blizzard made. If you need help with either achievement make sure you check out both of my guides. There will be links in the description as well as cards you can click on right now. The original guides are still useful since all the requirements to earn the achievements are the same. These changes just make them easier to complete. Let’s start with Good Suramaritan. Just a reminder that this is the achievement for completing all the main and side stories in Suramar. It was also the biggest obstacle to getting flying in Legion. Previously, the main story quests were reputation gated, so you needed to reach a certain level with the Nightfallen before some of the quests would become available. This is no longer the case. In Patch 7.3, Blizzard removed all of the reputation gates on the Suramar quests.
This means that you will be able to complete all of the main story chapters one after the other. As a reminder these chapters are The Waning Crescent, Blood and Wine, Statecraft, A Growing Crisis, and A Change of Seasons. Nothing about the quests have changed, just the fact that they were locked behind certain reputation levels. With this change, Legion flying will be much easier to get. Now for Breaching the Tomb. This achievement covers the Armies of Legionfall campaign on the Broken Shore. It also is required to unlock the quest line for your class mount. In Patch 7.3, Blizzard reduced to the requirements of some of the quests to make it a little easier and faster to progress through the storyline. The affected chapters are as follows: Mark of the Sentinax now only requires you to earn 50 Marks down from 100. Self-Fulfilling Prophecy now asks that you complete 8 Broken Shore world quests, down from 12. This means that if you have a full set of Broken Shore quests available, you can probably do this in a day, instead of it taking two or three. Intolerable Infestation now wants you to kill 50 demons in Azsuna or Suramar, down from 100.
And Relieved of Their Valuables only asks that you find 3 Hidden Wyrmtongue Caches, down from 5. These changes cut down on the time it takes to complete this achievement, meaning that you will be able to get your class amount much faster. It’s great to see Blizzard making these changes as they will help people that are just getting into Legion now catch up more quickly. They are also great for alts, especially if you’re trying to get all the class mounts like me.
